Question:
Having a tough time getting the lens off to mount them. Seems like it might break when prying on the lens. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Eric. To get the lens off of the Optronics LED Clearance or Side Marker Trailer Light item # MCL0040RBB, you'll want to get a real small flat head screwdriver like those little sunglass ones. You'll then place it in the rectangular cutouts below the red lens shown in the pics attached below. After that you'll want to use the flat edge of the screw driver to slowly pry the lens off doing this evenly on both sides.
The Optronics item # MCL0040RBB is a 2-1/2" diameter light with a red lens that can be used as a clearance or marker light. It uses a simple two wire install method so you'll need to connect the white to the ground and the red to the power.
What kind of trailer are you replacing the lights on? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
