Question:
2026 GMC 1500 3.0 diesel with ARC would this Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle Part Number: F2609 be compatible

Hey Antonio.
Unfortunately, the Firestone Ride-Rite # F2609 won't fit your 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 3.0L Duramax diesel.
However, we have two other potential options:
-RoadActive Suspension # RAS58RR – Provides additional support while maintaining a comfortable ride, but requires traditional steel leaf springs. It won't work with the optional composite mono leaf spring so I'd check if you have that.
-TorkLift StableLoad # TLA7310S – Provides extra support when needed and can be disengaged when unloaded. Requires factory lower overload springs, and diesel exhaust clearance could be an issue if your diesel truck has the short bed.
Could you tell me your bed length and whether your truck has traditional steel leaf springs or a composite mono-leaf setup? And if it has a factory overload spring.

I have an air ride suspension on my 2023 Silverado 1500. I only use it for towing, otherwise I don’t air it up. But I freakin love it! On that note, I had to get very creative to find a place to mount the air tank. I ended up manufacturing my own tank mount. Still hard to find a place to mount it.

I have the Firestone bag setup on my 2024 Chevrolet 1500 High Country. It is my trailer puller. I also added a compressor to mine with everything hidden and the gauge/control hidden inside the center council. Today I was towing my 20 ft. enclosed car trailer empty, and the wind was making the truck feel a little unstable. I bumped the air pressure to 30lbs. and the truck became more stable and smoother. I just added a 2026 Silverado to my truck collection, and I am adding bags to its rear suspension. I am also adding a hidden compressor but this time with a wireless remote control. I used to pull a 38 ft Hillsboro enclosed aluminum 5th wheel all over the states with Chevrolet 2500 single axle pickups. I had Firestone bags under those trucks. I just moved the bags every time I traded. They just had the lines t'd together with a Schrader valve in the bumper and an air bubble in the trailer. I'm definitely a bag man.
