Roof Platform Options for a 2018 Ford F-150 SuperCab

Updated 10/09/2026 | Published 10/04/2026

Question:

Hi, I have a supercab 2018 f150 and im looking to put a platform on the roof. Im specifically looking at the rhino rack pioneer platform. I know they make a rolf2 kit that attaches directly to crossbar bases but it is for a supercrew. With my truck being a supercab basically a door and a half would you know if I could source these parts out individually and just purchase a smaller platform if this would work. Im specifically looking at parts rrrlkva, dk427, rr89ap. Platform would be 51x49. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hey Ryan.

I can see what you're going for here. The combination of # RRRLKVA and the # DK427 is a fit for your truck as a base whether it's a supercrew or supercab assuming you are starting with a naked roof. Now, when it comes to the Rhino Rack # RR89AP mounting to this base, this is the part that I unfortunately cannot guarantee a fit for. This roof rack is somewhat narrow and would be a very awkward fit for your truck as the minimum width for a platform without crossbars for your truck is about 54". I'm having a hard time finding a great alternative for you that would work with this base without also installing crossbars.

You can attach two # RR33AG crossbars to the Rhino Rack Legs we already mentioned, then install the Inno # INA510 platform to this. I know this setup is unfortunately much smaller than you were hoping for but is a worthy alternative.

What are you hoping to put on the platform?
