Question:

I have 1 2027 Jayco RV 5th wheel with a specd overall length of 38foot 5. I will a cold weather cover to handle snow. Since the closest length i could find was up to 37 feet, should I go with that or the longer one that seems excessively long. Thanks.

Welcome back and congrats on the new trailer John! For a 38-1/2' long 5th wheel trailer, I recommend the Camco UltraGuard 5th Wheel Cover item # CAM45758. This cover is designed for 5th trailer's up to 40' long and has adjustable straps built in to secure the excess material. You definitely want a cover that is longer than your trailer not shorter.

The UltraGuard 5th Wheel Cover item # CAM45758 has a triple layer top panel that will bead away rain and snow while letting trapped moisture escape through a breathable middle layer. It has a vented design to reduce air build up and prevent mold from growing while your new trailer is in storage. The cover also has access panels built into the side with zippers that will let you get inside your trailer without removing the entire thing.

Where do you plan on storing your new trailer for the winter? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
