Brake controllers are not vehicle specific items, so you can use any brake controller you want on your 2014 Cadillac Escalade. Our fit guide information is based on the information released by the manufacturers and our brake controller manufactures simply have not released brake controller information on the 2014 Escalade yet. I have attached a link to all of our brake controllers for you to check out.
The brake controller that I recommend is the Prodigy P3, # 90195. This is one of the top brake controllers on the market and has many features that most brake controllers do not have. Check out the review video I attached.
The Cadillac Escalade did not come with a factor brake controller plug, but it should have the wires for a brake controller bundled up under the driver's side dash. They should have a white tag wrapped around the wires.
To install a brake controller you will simply splice the wires from the brake controller harness to the wire bundle under the dash. Be sure to wire by function, not by color. The wires coming from the brake controller are as follows
White - Ground
Black - 12 volt Power
Blue - Electric Brake Output
Red - Stop Light Switch
The functions of the wires under the dash should be listed on the white tag. I have also listed their functions below
White - Ground
Red - 12 volt Power
Dark Blue - Electric Brake Output
Light Blue/Orange - Stop Light Switch
