Question:

I recently ordered from you a BandW Gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter but realized I have no lock. What lock do you recommend? Thank you

Hey Mark, welcome back! Unfortunately, there isn't a great locking solution for the B&W 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # BW73RV. Standard gooseneck coupler locks won't fit this setup, and when we spoke with B&W they didn't have plans for a more extensive lock at this time.

For now, your best option is to run a standard padlock through the hole in the coupler latch. I know it isn't the most robust solution, but it will at least keep the latch from being opened and provide some theft deterrence.

How are you liking the B&W setup so far?

I ended up buying a Paclock 3 series 3/8 inch stainless steel lock. The body is stainless steel and the shackle is hardened steel so it would be harder to drill or cut. These locks are also harder to pick open.

@Russell that sounds like a solid option for this setup. Thanks for sharing what you found!
