I would personally recommend going with the Curt Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C14355, for your 2006 Ford F250 Crew Cab. This hitch is specifically designed for your Ford F-250 and will bolt directly to your frame with no welding required.
In order to be fully prepared to tow, you may also need Trailer Wiring, # C56032, and Ball Mount Kit, # EBMK2416.
