Updated 09/12/2026 | Published 09/06/2026

Question:

Im looking for 2 magnetic tail lights for my trailer that are internally battery operated, have a flashing function, and have an integrated switch that allows me to activate the flashing function of the lights. What do you have? Thanks.

Hi Mike! You need the Custer Lite It Wireless LED Agricultural Tow Lights # LIW-AGKIT-SG which sounds like exactly what you are looking for. These are a pair of removable magnetic tow lights with their own rechargeable internal batteries, so you do not have to run wires back to your trailer. They provide stop, tail, side marker, clearance, and turn functions, and they also have separate switches for the strobe lights and turn signals, allowing you to activate the flashing function as needed. The amber strobe lights are especially helpful for making your equipment more visible at night.

The lights are wireless, with a transmitter that plugs into the 7 way connector on your tow vehicle, and the heavy duty magnetic bases make them easy to install and remove when you need them. The rechargeable batteries can be charged using the included 12 volt DC accessory socket, and the on and off switches help conserve battery power when the lights are not needed. These are the only lights we currently carry that match this type of setup.

Would these be going on equipment that you frequently move between different trailers?

I have used these for years and they are great! i have different styles i have bought but the ones with the strobes are the best. i have replaced the internal batteries but only after lots and lots of use. adds so much peace of mind and safety to daytime and nighttime pulling of trailers

@Jl JL, thank you for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear they’ve held up through years of use. Knowing they’ve given you that extra peace of mind while towing, both day and night, is really helpful for other customers considering these lights. What kind of trailers do you tow where you need the strobe feature? Just curious :)

Slow moving implement of agriculture. The strobes bring more attention that it is slow moving and over width.
