Can Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Be Used to Turn Trailer Sharply  

In my case the answer was a disappointing no. At about 60° the tires make contact with the tongue jack pole even when it's retracted all the way. I assume some tongue jacks are mounted farther back from the hitch, so I'd say that is the deciding factor. If yours is far enough back to miss the tires, it's 100% capable of a 90° turn.

I was limited in how sharp a turn I could do because the post on the trailer hits the wheel when you turn more than 30 degrees. Also it takes quite a bit of strength to hold it on a turn. I was exhausted after doing multiple back and forward turns to make a wide u turn on a level concrete driveway

I can turn the Park-it 360 more than 90* My trailer tongue is too high for the standard ball connection, so I ordered the device that clamps to the trailer frame. I then modified it and built a mounting bracket that pins to my Wallace adjustable hitch. This works, however my tongue weight is quite high, and usually have to put the trailer tongue weight on the tongue jack in order to swivel the trailer mover to the side. This works for me because the mover tires clear the trailer jack. It is a bit tedious. My setup is not typical, and I would suggest that you stay below 800 lbs tongue weight. Just an opinion, your setup may vary. It does make it easier to park it in my garage for the winter. :-)

I had the 10k version but I had to sell it because it was too hard to make turns. My boat trailer is a tri-axel and even the company agreed that the dolly could not do it well. I ended up getting a front hitch for my truck and it is not perfect but much easier physically. Trying to turn with trailer dolly requires tremendous effort and strength and can be risky both to property and self. I always was very sore and worn out after using it. Not like the videos. It all depends on weight of trailer, having a single axel and flat smooth surface. Forget gravel and slopes too. I must say however the customer service guys at parkit 360 are great. They are kind and patient and genuinely want to help.

I have the 10K version. I use it with multiple trailers that are over 5K, some at home, some at a ranch. One is a dump trailer that I sometimes need to bring to my home. Where I mainly live I'm very limited on space to back in. The trailer dolly let's me get that 16' 5K (when empty) trailer in to a space with about 1" of clearance off of each fender. I can swing it 90 degrees because the hitch on the dump tailer is adjustable and at a height that clears the body of the dolly. I agree with Jameson that it can be challenging to get it to a 90 degree because it weighs a lot with trailer tongue added, but I can wrestle it to get it done.
