Question:
I have a 2020 Grand Design Imagine 3250bh and looking for new springs. It has dexter 5100lb axles with a 35inch axle spacing. The one side was replaced at the dealer with part number 26E-2600 by there paperwork. I have measured both the newer ones and old ones with the weight still on them. Old 26 inches with the W look to them. New is 25 3/4 inches. Looking for something a little heavier than the 4 leaf springs that sag even when they are new.

Thanks for the information Jody and welcome back! To upgrade the leaf springs on your 2020 Grand Design Imagine 3250BH, I recommend our 5-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000 lbs Trailer Axles item # e34SR.
These are sold individually and you'll want to replace all four of your leaf springs. Replacing all the leaf springs at the same time ensures your trailer is equally balanced and level.
The 26E-2600 leaf springs you had installed are 25-1/4" long with the weight off of them, have 4-leafs and are rated at 2,600 lbs each. Our Double-Eye Spring item # e34SR is also 25-1/4" long which is important so you don't throw off the geometry of your suspension. They have a 5-leaf design and a 3,000 lbs capacity each so they're definitely going to offer more support once the weight of your fully loaded trailer is placed on them.
For future reference you want to find the correct size replacement leaf springs by measuring your current ones with the weight off of the suspension. As you've found out with your new ones, leaf springs do stretch out over years of use. That's why you're getting different lengths. You had a part number which made tracking down replacements pretty easy.
When you swap out your leaf springs, you'll also want to switch out your hardware as those wet bolts are only meant to be torqued down once. I recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR46ZR. This kit comes with 2-1/4" shackles, which are the same size as your current ones, bronze bushings, wet bolts and shackle straps.
What kind of gear do you pack up your trailer with and have you noticed any difference in sagging? Your Grand Design having three slide outs definitely puts quite a bit of weight on the suspension. Just curious if you're loading anything else up that's adding a significant amount of weight. Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
