Will The 68" Thomas Payne Sofa TP49KR Fit A 2016 Forest River Cherokee 274RK With A 68" Opening?

Question:

I have a 2016 Forest River Cherokee 274RK that want to replace the sleeper sofa in. My question the opening in the slide for couch is exactly 68inch - I am hoping this will work in it and not have to go with a 67inch model as i do not like them as well.

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out. The Thomas Payne Rest Easy Trifold RV Loveseat and Sleeper # TP49KR will work with your 68" opening. The loveseat itself measures exactly 68" wide from the outside of one arm to the outside of the other, so it is going to be a snug fit, but you do not need to drop down to a 67" model just to make it work.

With exactly 68" of space, the arms are going to sit right up against the sides of the slide, which is pretty normal with RV furniture. As long as you have a true 68" of usable space with no trim or other obstructions sticking into that opening, I recommend sticking with the # TP49KR and getting the loveseat you actually like.

Do you normally travel with family or grandkids who will be using the sleeper?
