Question:

Looking for a hitch for a 1 1/4 hitch for a 2026 Hundai Tucson, but your site only directs me to 2inch. Assume you have one???

Hi Tim, sadly we don’t currently have a 1-1/4 inch hitch available for the 2026 Hyundai Tucson. I know that’s probably not what you were hoping to hear if you already have 1-1/4 inch accessories, but the good news is you can still use them with one of the 2 inch hitches we carry.

I’d go with the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch part # C94WR that you are looking at. It has a 2 inch receiver and a concealed cross tube, so once it’s installed you mainly see the receiver underneath the Tucson, which keeps everything looking nice and clean. A 2 inch receiver also gives you a much larger selection of bike racks and cargo carriers if you ever decide to change accessories down the road.

If you already have a bike rack or cargo carrier with a 1-1/4 inch shank, you can use the Curt Reducer Sleeve part # C49WQ to adapt the 2 inch receiver down to 1-1/4 inches.

What do you plan to carry, bikes, a cargo tray, or some other gear?

Is yours an N-line model? I have the OEM 1’1/4 hitch from my 2022 Hyundai Limited that I replaced with a 2 inch. Nothing wrong with it. I just needed a 2 inch. Mine might fit yours if it isn’t an N-line version.

I have this same hitch on my 2024 kia sportage (basically the same as a tucson) and it's awesome. I haul 2 Motorcycles and camping gear in a 10'x 12" trailer and this hitch handles it like nothing. Totally recommend.
