Question:

The fan quit working can we replace just the fan? We had a service guy here and he said to replace it with a computer fan but we havent found any that worked. We have a 2019 Jayco eagle 330rsts pull behind. The system is PD4560K18NS2B

Thanks for letting us help John. Unfortunately, we don't carry the replacement cooling fan by itself for the converter section of your Progressive Dynamics Power Center # PD4560K18LS8. The replacement option we offer is the Progressive Dynamics Converter Section # PD4560CSV which includes the cooling fan. The fan is controlled by the converter and automatically increases or decreases speed based on the converter's temperature and power demand. Because of that, I'd be hesitant to replace it with a generic computer fan. Even if a replacement fan physically fits, there's no guarantee it would interface properly.

I was able to locate a replacement fan in Progressive Dynamics' online service parts catalog, and I'll send you that information separately. However, Progressive Dynamics notes that the fan itself is typically not the source of the problem, since its operation is controlled by the converter section.

Did the technician who came out test the converter's operation and output, or did they only test the fan?
