Could you please tell me the overall dimensions of tis product and how long the handle is when fully extended.

Hi Melanie,

Absolutely! I have a diagram showing the overall dimensions of the Double RV Waste Valves with Sanitation Tee, part # T18, including the measurements with both valve handles fully extended. I’ve included that diagram below so you can compare the measurements directly with the space you have available.

If you’re working in a pretty tight spot, what’s the maximum amount of room you have around your existing waste valve setup?

I bout the dual, gray/Black tank valve to do away with my black tank leaking cable operated valve that was buried under the belly pan. I was able to do away with the cables and the valve is accessible without removing the belly pan. This is my second one I purchased. I restored a 63 Airstream and used the very same valve. Very easy to plumb in and even more to use. Oh and very reliable!

@Chuck Thanks for sharing, Chuck! It says a lot that you liked this setup enough to use it again. Restoring a ’63 Airstream sounds like quite the project! What all did you have to restore on it?

@HeatherA A friend of mine, wanted to do a trade his airstream that had not moved in 15 years for an old equipment trailer I had. So we knew it was junk for junk. Well the termites ate the floor and made trails up the aluminum walls and was snacking on the cabinets. So I did what I thought was the right thing and stripped it down to the frame. I took the shell off and then went from there. These old airstreams did not have a gray tank so that was another modification that had to be made. I tried to put it back to the exact floor plan that it started with. I did build in a microwave, and roof mounted ac. All appliances, wiring, plumbing, screens everything new except the medicine cabinet in bathroom. Ahhhhhhh that was a fast ten years. I can send photos.

@Chuck Wow, you weren’t kidding about it being a project! Taking it all the way down to the frame and rebuilding everything while keeping the original floor plan sounds like a labor of love. Ten years probably goes by pretty fast when you’re working on something like that! I’d love to see some photos of how the Airstream turned out! You can send them to [email protected]
