the female half hold down buckle for my 1.0 extang trifold tonneau cover broke. I think its smaller opening 3/16 by 2 3/16 than the 2.0 version. How can I replace it?

You're correct that the buckle for the original Extang SolidFold 1.0 is different from the buckle used on the newer SolidFold 2.0.
For your SolidFold 1.0, the replacement female hold down buckle is # EX1018. We've confirmed directly with Extang that this is the replacement for the original SolidFold.
The similar looking # EX54560402 is specifically for the SolidFold 2.0 and will not replace the buckle on your 1.0 cover.
So as long as you have the original SolidFold 1.0, # EX1018 is the buckle you'll want.
How long have you had your SolidFold? Has the rest of the cover held up pretty well over the years?
