Looking for Demco Manual Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch that Fits Ram OEM Pucks

Question:

Hi, do you sell the Demco manual slider that goes on rails? I’m looking for a manual slider hitch for my ram with 6.5 bed. I like how demco slides 14 in.

Hey Daryl, are you trying to fit industry standard above bed fifth wheel rails or are you wanting a hitch that will fit Ram OEM pucks in bed of your truck? We don't carry the version for an above bed rail but we do have the part # DM57YV that fits the Ram pucks.

@DarylL That one uses the UMS rail design which is not the standard above bed rails like you have. Are you for sure wanting a Demco?

@JamesonC I saw this comment that’s why I thought it would work. Hey Clint, you are going to be installing the rail kit on the truck as well, correct? The Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM47YV by itself should take only about 30 mins to assemble and install. The Installation Rail Kit # DM8551000 will also need to be installed on the truck. For the Installation Rail Kit, we estimate about 4.5 hours for installation. So, for the hitch and rail kit you would be looking at around 5 hours. I like how the Demco slides 14inches. My drive way is steep and I’d like as much sliding back as possible.

@Daryl So there is a Demco Recon slider that is what you are looking for but it's not one that we carry which is super annoying. Looks like it is part number 8550052.
