Will Curt A16 5th Wheel Hitch Fit Factory Pucks on 2022 Ram 2500

I have a Curt A16 slider from my old truck that has the standard bed rails but now I have a 2022 Ram 2500 with the puck system. Can I continue to use this hitch with my pucks with some kind of an adapter or do I have to purchase a completely new hitch? Thanks for any advice.

Great question! You will be happy to know that you can utilize your Curt A16 Slider # C16521 with the puck system on your 2022 Ram 2500. All you need is the Adapter # C16022, which fits the long and short beds, to accomplish this.
If you have the short bed then you'll still use the slider function but if you have the long bed you'll have enough clearance to keep the hitch in the regular towing configuration. For the long bed you can also remove the A16 Head # C16520 and install it directly to the Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Ram Towing Prep Package # C16021 so that you don't have the extra weight of the sliding system plus the adapter kit. These legs with the head unit give you part # C16520-16021 which frees up precious cargo weight and space in your truck bed.
