Is Coating Surge Brake Actuator that will be In Saltwater with Waterproof Grease Good Idea

Question:
I just ordered the Dexter Model 10 or 20 surge brake actuator replacement. The one I am replacing on my 10 year old trailer that is exposed to salt water and salt air mainly needed replacing because the mounting bracket and the springs on each side of the assembly were severely rusted. Is there any reason not to pack the springs and coat the components of the mounting hardware with waterproof marine grease before installing. Because of my set up, it will be very difficult to spray the springs effetively with an anti-corrosive spray regularly. Thanks

I use Corrosion X HD on most everything that is exposed to the elements. My boat mechanic told me to use it on the motor. Corrosion X is expensive, but it was better than anything else.
