Question:

The blue quick connecter how does it allow you to hook up to garden hose i bought this but it looks like in only hooks up to garden hose without that quick connecter and than it does not allow you to shut the flow of water off. if that the fact what is that quick connecter for. Thanx

I can see why that would be confusing. The blue fitting looks like it could be a shut off valve, but it's actually just a quick connect adapter.

Here's how to set up the Dicor Telescopic Wash Brush Pole # DC39TR:

Thread the blue adapter onto the end of your garden hose.
Snap the garden hose onto the bottom of the wash pole using the quick connect fitting.
When you're finished, pull back on the quick connect collar to disconnect the hose without having to unthread it.

You also have the option of threading your garden hose directly onto the wash pole. The quick connect is there to make connecting and disconnecting faster but it does not stop the flow of water. You'll still want to turn the water off at the faucet before disconnecting the hose.

Are you planning to use the wash pole with a standard garden hose, a pressure washer or something different?
