Can the Legs Be Removed from the Thomas Payne 72" RV Jackknife Sofa?

Question:

Are the legs removable? My jackknife sofa fits over the fender well. As such I would need to remove the legs and rest on the platform above the fender. I have a Rockwood 2109S.

Hi Spencer, Yes! The legs on the Thomas Payne RV Jackknife Sofa and Kickboard, Part # TP37AR, are completely optional. In fact, the sofa comes without the legs installed, so if your Rockwood 2109S has a platform over the fender well, you can simply leave the legs off and set the sofa directly on the platform.

I attached the dimensions so you can compare the sofa to your existing platform and make sure everything lines up the way you expect. I think that's the best way to confirm it'll fit before you order.

Just out of curiosity, are you replacing the original jackknife sofa, or are you upgrading to something a little more comfortable?
