Replacement Grease Caps for Trailers Using 2.70 and 3.35 Inch Diameter Caps

Question:
I have two trailers that I need grease caps for. I measured my old cap with micrometer and came up with 3.350inch on one trailer and 2.70 inches on the other trailer. Which caps do you have that may fit. I did not see any with my measurement, but you had some that were close. Thanks for your time

The best way to determine the grease cap needed would be to measure the inside diameter of the hub bore, where the grease caps sit. Grease caps are meant to fit tightly, and they're made of metal that's softer than the hubs, so they can deform and get bent up and not provide a consistent diameter when you go to measure them. For the 2.70 inch cap, a new cap would probably be just a bit larger, maybe 2.72 inches, as it'll compress a bit as you drive it in.
For the 3.35 inch cap, we have a few possibilities that I've linked to, but getting an accurate measurement of the hub bore will always be the best way to positively determine the correct size needed.
