Sorry to hear about your troubles with the Bigfoot system. Potentially dumb question, but has the repair shop you take your camper to tried bleeding the system? I was doing some research and this looked to be the fix for similar issues you are having.

Anyway, scissor jack would definitely be a more foolproof way to go about leveling your motorhome. They are obviously not going to be as nice or easy to set up, but there is a lot less that can go wring with them too. Which is a plus.

You didn't mention which exact model Freelander you have, but if you have the 20CB, 21QB, or 21RS you could go with the 10K rated etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle and Drill Adapter - 24" Lift - Qty 4 # e64RV you were looking at. These come with the drill adapter to make extending and retracting easier, and they will work quite well for you.

If you have a 27QB, 26RS, 29KS, or 31BH though, you are going to want something stronger. For any of these models, I would go with the etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle and Drill Adapter - 24" Lift - Qty 2 # e96VV. This is a quantity of two, so you would need to order two sets, but you would absolutely be covered. A pair of these are rated up to 15K, so ordering two pairs would get you up to 30K of support capacity. More than is needed, but you would be completely covered.

If I were doing this, I would also grab something like the SnapPad StakPad Universal Leveling Block and Jack Pad for RVs and Trailers - Black - Qty 1 # SN74VR for each of the jacks. Scissor jacks tend to not have the largest feet in the world, so something like this will give you a nice big surface area for the jack to come down to (see included image).

Are you getting ready for an upcoming trip? Hopefully the jacks not working properly haven't gotten in the way of anything fun.
