Question:

I have a 2021 grand design momentum 349 and the rf hydraulic jack is leaking fluid from the bottom seal and i want to replace it with Lippert part 2024015099 from your site is this the correct jack for this position my current one has a dome top

Hey Mike!

I got the specifications for your 2021 Grand Design Momentum 349M directly from Grand Design and found that they used the OEM part number 8005353 for the right front Level Up jack, which is the same as Replacement Hydraulic Jack Assembly for Lippert Level Up Leveling System # LC83ED. The 2024015099, which is Lippert Level Up Hydraulic Leveling Jack # LC28CK, does have a lot of the same specifications as the # LC83ED but they do have some differences in dimensions so I would not be comfortable calling it a direct replacement on your fifth wheel because that would likely lead you to an unlevel fit. I wish there was a seal kit to make the replacement easier on you, but there is not currently a rebuild or seal kit available for Level Up Jacks so the # LC83ED is definitely the way to move forward.

Have you been traveling pretty often in the Grand Design, and do you think that is what caused the leak? Where do you like to camp in your trailer?
