Hi Ronald,
From what you're describing with the jacks stopping and restarting after about 30 seconds, it sounds like the circuit breaker that protects the hydraulic pump is cooling down because it has too much electricity flowing through it. The clicking sounds you're hearing is a strong indicator that's what's happening. There are a few different things you can check to find the cause: low battery voltage can cause the pump to overload and stop until the breaker resets, so check that they are fully charged and stay above 12V while retracting.
If the circuit breaker is weak or failing, you can replace it by following the power wire from the pump to the auto-resetting breaker near the battery box on the frame. Older campers use 50-amp or 80-amp breakers that can weaken over time, so replacing it is a common fix. Also check that the hydraulic pump has enough fluid, and that the battery terminals and grounds to the hydraulic pump and solenoid aren't loose or corroded.
How long has this issue with the jacks pausing been happening for?

The replacement board was purchased 07/30/2025 and installed upon receipt. The board, altho pricy, is worth getting rid of the hit or miss operation problems. Thanks again for the support.

Ronald: I had problems with my jacks so I replaced it with a new controller that I purchased from etrailer and installed it and it worked great. Come to find out that my old controller wasn't bad at all, you are able to reset the controller by holding down a couple of buttons at the same time. You'll have to read the owners manual because I don't remember exactly the steps but just wanted you to know that if your controller ever doesn't work at all, make sure you try to reset it according to the instructions in the manual. if I had known that it would have saved me having to buy an expensive new one. Best of luck. Robert
