Hi. We have a 2022 Gand Design Reflection 337RLS. We have a 2022 Ram 3500 short box with the 5th wheel prep in it. We are seriously looking at switching to a gooseneck. How would the cost be for just the gooseneck. We have the other parts, ie hooks for the safety chains etc.

Since you have the prep package on your 2022 Ram 3500 short box, I recommend using the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 30,000lbs part # BWGNXA2062. This kit comes with a 2 5/16" hitch ball with a built-in ball bearing locking system that will help keep it securely in your truck's prep package. It also has a handle so you can easily drop in or remove the hitch ball when not in use. It also includes safety chain loops and a cover to seal off the receiver to keep dirt and debris out. It also has its own handy carrying case that it comes in so you can easily keep all the parts together and clean when not in use.

To adapt your 2022 Grand Design Reflection to a gooseneck pin box, I suggest switching to the MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box for 14K to 18K Trailers for Lippert 1621 part # MR97MV. It's rated for 14K to 18K so it can perfectly handle the weight of your camper. The rubber shear spring inside it will help absorb both vertical and fore-and-aft movement to reduce chucking and shock. The coupler will automatically latch onto the gooseneck ball, and its remote handle makes it easy to release it without having to climb into the truck bed.
