Replacement Converter for CS-6000XL

Question:

I have an American cs-6000xl power station, I would like to change only the power converter/ charger assembly and not the whole system just the component to upgrade to a lithium battery. I cannot find the part number to do an easy switch over. thank you, Ed

Hey Ed!

The CS-6000XL power center is a discontinued model with no exact replacement, so in order to replace it with a converter to work with a lithium battery, you'll need to replace the entire power center.

To replace your CS-6000XL, I recommend the Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel - 60 Amp # PD4560K18LS8. While it's not meant to be a direct swap, this is a 60 amp panel so it's going to handle the same load as your current setup while also allowing you to charge your lithium battery. The cutout requirement of this panel is 13-1/4" tall x 10-1/8" wide.
