Way to Convert a 2 inch Swagman Original Bike Rack to be 1-1/4 inch Hitch Compatible

Question:

I have the swagman original 4 bike rack with a 2inch hitch. Can I get parts to change it to a 1 1/4inch hitch?

Expert Reply:

Yes, you would want the Replacement 1-1/4 inch Shank part # P315. This will replace the shank of your Swagman Original Bike rack part # S64400 and will let you install it in either a 2 inch or 1-1/4 inch hitch.

If you plan on installing this rack into a Class I hitch you should note that you will be limited to only carrying 2 bikes.
