Where Does Control Box of GE AC Unit # GE56RR Mount When Installed

Question:
Exactly where does the control box mount? Is there room for the install between the unit and the vent? I also have read replacement for older units that you have to change everything out, are these not all self contained units?

Hey Shelby, I was just in a training for GE AC units like the GE Appliances Low-Profile RV AC System # GE56RR and he told us the control box of this would mount between the upper unit and the lower air box as there's generally room there and it makes it easiest to wire everything up with it mounted there.
