Hi KP,

To install the Thule Foothill cover straps:

1. Open the travel cover enough to access the inside where the straps are

2. Locate the strap mounting point, each strap is fastened to the cover with a screw and retainer plate, so you'll need to use a screwdriver to remove the screw and retainer to pull the old strap free.

3. Position the new strap in the same orientation as the original strap and reinstall the retainer and screw. Make sure the screw is snug but don't over tighten it or it'll thread into the cover's hardware.

4. Repeat for the other straps and test the fit by wrapping the straps around the folded tent and fasten the Velcro close to make sure the cover is held tightly.
