I need a 5 wire female plug to 7 way plug to truck. Purchased Rice trailer in 2015 and need the wire harness from my truck to trailer about 6 feet back. I can send a picture of what i have. It also had a red, white and blue wire sealed into the unit for battery hook up auxiliary. Thanks TOM

Hey Tom! For a 7-way to 5-way adapter you can use the Mighty Cord 7-Way RV Style to 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector Adapter # A10-7275VP. If you need an extended adapter to reach you could use the Curt # C84HR instead which can stretch up to 96" when fully extended.
If you're trying to replace the trailer wiring, you could use the TowSmart 7-Blade Trailer Connector # TS74RR you were looking at and replace the 5-way so there is no need for an additional adapter. This is 72" long and you can just ignore the colors and match the functions to wire it in.
