Hi Klynt!

We have just what you are looking for with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C37RV. This will fit your 2021 Kia Sorrento Hybrid perfectly and gives you a 2" receiver. It's also a bolt on application and should take no time at all to get installed.

For the wiring, you will need the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. This is a hardwire kit as there are no plug and play options, unfortunately. It is more difficult to install, but just take your time and you will get it done before you know it.

What are you planning on using this hitch for? Guessing you are going to be towing something, but still figured I would ask.

I installed the hitch by myself. I’m no great mechanic but a 75yr old retired aerospace engineer. To make installation easier I used a hydraulic jack to hold the assembly in place to mark the exact spots to drill the holes for placement. The wire harness takes a little thought in routing. Using spot ties (Tie raps) & also drilling a hole near the battery to route the hot wire. Make sure to protect the wire where it goes through the metal battery floor.

@GlennG You had to drill into the frame to install the hitch? This should have been a bolt on application.

I installed this on my 2024 Sorrento Hybrid and do not recall it being too difficult to do. I would recommend having a friend help you install it. If you must do it by yourself, I would use a floor jack or blocks. The hitch has had no problems since installation. My hitch has had a scooter rack attached to it for the last year. Nothing rattles and nothing has come loose.

@BobV Floor jacks definitely make it easier if you don't have a helper. Glad to hear nothing is rattling as well! Are you using an anti-rattle device?
