Question:
Hello there, with this reference I can limit the speed of my truck 2008 f250 6.4L at 55 mph, as required by French regulations for this vehicle? Is that I could: connect it, change the maximum speed, disconnect, and drive without connecting, and my truck can not exceed the 55 mph ? thank you greetings JP Jourdain

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Edge about your 2008 F-250, and the speed-limiter setting on the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner, part # EP16040. They told me that the tuner is not designed to lower the speed limit of your vehicle. The tuner is designed to raise the speed limit when needed, and if disconnected will have no effect on the speed limit the vehicle can drive.
