Question:

What is the diff between the RM95DQ and the RM64ZR. I currently have a Nighthawk tow bar on my rv and looks like it will be compatible. Also cant seem to find good photos of the finished look installed on a 2026 Chevy Tahoe Z71. Is there a video of the install process. And what lighting kit do you suggest? Thank you.

Hey Kevin! It looks like Roadmaster recently updated their fitguide, and the only base plate kit that fits your 2026 Tahoe Z71 is the # RM64ZR so that is what you need. We haven't had anyone bring their vehicle in for installation, so we don't have a video or any pictures right now. The only picture is the one I attached below from the Roadmaster installation instructions. Also, this is compatible with your Nighthawk.

It looks like diode kits aren't an option so for lighting I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM35MR. You will need a battery disconnect as well # RM-766 to complete your setup.

Where are you headed once you get the Tahoe ready for towing?
