Question:

I have a 2026 GMC Yukon Elevation with factory flush side rails. I want a low-profile, very quiet Thule roof rack to carry a ladder on the highway. Can you set me up with a complete Thule WingBar Evo / Evo Flush Rail style kit for my Yukon crossbars, feet, and the correct fit kit for the flush rails, and also recommend low-profile ladder clamps or ladder stops that work with those aero bars? I’ll be carrying one ladder most of the time, possibly two, so I want something secure but as quiet and low-drag as possible.

Congrats on the new SUV Alan. For your 2026 GMC Yukon, you'll need the Thule WingBar Edge Roof Rack item # TH47WG in black or item # TH86FG in silver. This is a flush style roof rack that does not extend over the sides of your Yukon's roof top rails. The crossbars will end at the included mounting towers. The Evo roof rack you mentioned like item # TH94CG extends over the sides of the roof rails and you won't need that extra length for a single ladder.

The WingBar Edge item # TH47WG in black or item # TH86FG in silver come with all the parts you'll need to get the 37-1/2" long crossbars installed. This setup has a 165 lbs and will sit 4-1/2" above your Yukon's roof.

For compatible load stops you'll want to use the Load Stops item # RRRLH2. These are designed for Rhino-Rack crossbars but work great on Thule WingBars. They are sold as a pair and are 5" tall.
