This is my first time ordering a front shade for an awning. Are these meant to be rolled up with the awning, or do you have to pull it off every time before rolling up the awning?

Hey David. The Solera Classic RV Awning Shade Screen item # SO93FR is not designed to be rolled up inside your shade for storage. If you have a classic awning most are designed with a pull strap. You would not be able to roll the shade up because it would alter where the strap would lay rolled up and you wouldn't be able to roll it out.
