Looking For Install Video For Base Plate On 2010 Toyota Yaris

Question:

The great thing Ive noticed about etrailer, is that theres always usually a video installing the part, no matter how how small it is and its a real great service you provide, however, I cant seem to find a video on the BX3780. I want to buy it from you guys, but I want to know what Im getting into L.O.L.

Hey Nigel, thanks for reaching out. I do have some resources I think you will find helpful, but we haven't had a chance to install the Blue Ox base plate # BX3780 here at our shop yet, so no chance to shoot a video for a Toyota Yaris.

That said, we did install the Roadmaster brand base plate on a 2013 Yaris, and we shot a video of that install. So not exactly the same base plate, but the process is somewhat similar, so that video should give you a good enough idea of what you're in for.

Installing these base plates on a Yaris is a fairly involved process. You have to completely remove the front bumper. You'll also be doing some minor drilling, plus trimming the bumper fascia and air dam. If you're familiar with working on cars and installing flat tow equipment, I'd call it about a 6 hour job. Allow even more time if you're new to this kind of thing.
