Question:

Hello, I am looking for a trailer hitch that will fit my 2006 BMW e90 325i sedan. Your website is not showing any trailer hitches that will fit. Please send me information on trailer hitches that will fit my car. I would like the hidden stealth style trailer hitch if you have that available. Thank you, Elliot Yu

Thanks for reaching out Elliot,

The 2006 doesn't have a hitch confirmed to fit from any manufacturer. Though your 325i may look similar, there are important differences in the frame mounting points and exhaust layout. The stealth hitch showed being compatible with 2007 - 2013 3 series convertible/coupes and the instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # c11033 shows compatible with 2007 - 2010 325i sedan models with a single muffler.

If you are set on installing a hitch, I would advise you check that your vehicle does not have a dual exhaust and that it is a sedan, not the wagon or coupe. You should also compare the mounting points to ensure the hitch will lineup.

How do you plan on using the hitch; bike rack, cargo carrier, or small trailer?

Thanks James. I plan to tow small trailer motorcycle or go-kart. My car is a 2006 BMW 325i 4 door sedan E90 chassis, first year of this E90 chassis. It has a single muffler, not sure what would be different compared to the 2007 E90 chassis. They should be the same. Could you send me local retailers in Houston TX 77007? I can drop by and let them look and to see if should fit.

@ElliotY anytime and if you have more questions, please reach out! Last go-kart I was in I hit a banana peel and came in 5th place lol As for a retailer in Houston, I can direct you to a local installer but I wouldn't have a local store who I know carries the hitch on site.
