Will Napier Backroadz SUV Tent Fit 2020 Mercedes-Benz Metris

Question:
We are considering the Napier SUV Backroads tent NA59FR, but it says it is not a fit for our 2020 Mercedes Benz Metris. Do you know what the specific issue is? I see it is compatible with some Sprinters, which are larger than the Metris. Any help would be appreciated! Dan

Hey Dan! The Napier Backroadz SUV Tent # NA59FR is designed as a universal fit for all CUVs, SUVs, and minivans. The reason you’re not seeing it listed for your Metris is simply that it hasn’t been confirmed in our fitguide yet.
Napier actually recommends the larger models, like the # NA59FR (19100), for vehicles with barn style rear doors like the Metris. If you have the rear liftgate instead, that is even better. The tent is designed to accommodate both styles. The only other requirement is a rear opening height of 80" or less and your Metris isn't over 80".
Is this a passenger van, cargo van, or something you converted for camping?

Hi Robin - Thanks for the response. We have a Metris Getawy https://www.mbvans.com/en/metris-getaway - a conversion with a rear bench that converts to a double bed and a pop top that can sleep 2 more. Ours also has a pull out kitchen under the tailgate.
