Will Victron DC To AC Inverter Be Able To Power Entire Keystone Montana RV With 50A Service?

Question:
I’ve got a 2022 Keystone Montana with 50A service. If I install the VN95VR, will it power both legs of my panel or just one side?

Hey David, that’s a great question.
The 4000w Victron Quattro inverter charger 48v # VN95VR can supply power to both legs of your panel, but it’s still delivering 120V single-phase power, not true split-phase like shore power that delivers 12,000w total.
What that means:
-Both sides of your panel can be energized
-Your outlets and most appliances will work normally
-Total output is still limited to 4,000 watts combined
So instead of one side being “dead,” everything works - you just need to manage how much power you’re using at once. That’s a big advantage over smaller inverters that only feed one leg.
What all are you trying to run off the inverter? AC units and heaters will be fine, but keep in mind the battery capacity is what usually limits you when off-grid.
