Can the VN55ZR run a microwave in my camper or is that too much for it?

Hey Jeff, we have a solution, but that’s right on the edge for this inverter.
Most RV microwaves pull 1,000–1,500 watts, so the Victron inverter 1,000w # VN55ZR isn’t really sized for that. It might trip or shut down under load. This is really a “light load” inverter, not a kitchen appliance unit. For lighter use - TV, outlets, chargers - it’s perfect. But for anything with a heating element, you’ll want to step up to a larger inverter like the 2,400w # VN42VR.
Are you mainly trying to run the microwave, or just occasional small electronics?
