Question:

I have a Coachman Brookstone 395RL. I am looking to install an awning over my living room/dinette slide that measures 152 inches from trim to trim. I think I could go as wide as 154, but I am not seeing that as an option. Any thoughts?

Hey Shawn, thanks for reaching out. We do have a slide out awning for a 152" slide. For that I recommend the following:

- Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 157" Wide - Black # LCV000168109

This will fit slides between 152" and 157" wide, so it'll be a perfect fit for your slide. Just make sure you have at least 7" on either side of the slide and you will be good to go. It'll help keep your slide out clean, dry and well sealed.

We also have it available in white as part # LCV000163300 if you prefer that.

Do you usually park under trees? Or in windy, open sites?

Hey Shawn, I can't speak on the measurements, but if you talk to E trailer, they are very good and knowledgeable and can tell you what will work. Also, I can speak on the quality of the awning. We installed it and it looked like it was factory installed. High-quality in the people at E trailer are absolutely wonderful to work with. They won't steer you wrong.

I installed 3 of the slide toppers on my Jayco destination trailer. Just provide ETrailer the size of you slide out width and they will provide the best option. My order arrived quick and they are packaged very well in heavy cardboard type tubes with metal caps. Installation was very easy following the included instructions and the on-line videos. Make sure you have good proper height quality ladders and some help. The length you are looking at is too heavy to handle on your own. I had myself and 2 others to assist with install. Took us about 6 hours to install 3 of them. Very happy with the performance of the product Andy

@Andy Appreciate you sharing that, that’s a great heads up for anyone looking at these. They’re pretty straightforward, but the size and weight can definitely catch you off guard if you’re not ready for it. Glad to hear everything showed up in good shape and is working well. Sounds like you’ve got a solid setup now.
