Roller Bunk Installation Locations on a Trailer to Avoid Hitting Center Seam of Pontoon Boat
Question:
Can the center roller be removed ? I want to use under pontoon to pull ashore. There is a center seam i do not want to damage. Thanks

If you were to remove the center rollers from the Dutton Lainson Rollers part # DL21741 it would void the warranty and would reduce the weight capacity of the roller so I could not recommend you do so.
Also, the center roller is only 1-5/16 inches wide. It would be pretty hard to steer the center seam of your pontoon boat to line up perfectly with this seam.
You might be better off putting a # DL21741 on either side of the seam with enough room to avoid hitting the seam if you weren't perfectly centered.
