I’ve got a diesel transfer tank in the back of my service truck. No room for generator on the new flatbed. I want something powered but I don’t always have access to an outlet. What should I be looking at?

Hello Brent, for a truck-mounted tank without AC / generator power, the Fill-Rite 12V Pump Kit # FR35XQ is exactly what you want.
It runs off a 12V DC battery connection and includes 18' of 12-gauge power wire and a 5' ground wire, so you’ve got flexibility in mounting. If you don't have 12v wires there, it wouldn't be difficult to run wires from one of your truck's 12V batteries, or even get a bed-mounted battery like # 34276285 and charge it off the truck or with solar.
The pump itself delivers 20 gallons per minute, which is a strong flow for 20–80 gallon tanks, more than enough for most flat-bed mounted or tractor-mounted tanks and drums. It mounts to a standard 2" bung, includes a 12' long 1" diameter hose with static ground wire, manual nozzle, and telescoping suction pipe 20"–34-1/2".
What kind of work do you do? I assume a lot of agriculture or construction work since you have a big diesel tank on the bed.
