Question:
I like the vertical layout of the 40A WFC72GR but I only have 30A hookup. Is that a problem?

Not a problem at all, Kyle.
The WFCO RV converter power panel # WFC72GR is still a 30A main breaker power center. The “40A” rating refers to DC charging output - not shore power input. I know, it's confusing haha.
The vertical orientation simply gives you more DC fuse circuits 13 total and more AC branch options. It installs taller than wide, so just make sure your cabinet opening supports the cutout requirement of 7-13/16" wide x 7-3/8" deep x 11-5/16" tall.
If it's going to require more trimming or filling than desired, we have another model like the 40A # WF46FR which requires cutout dimensions of 10-3/8" wide x 4-1/8" deep x 7" tall
Are you adding more circuits or just replacing an older unit? If you can tell me the older unit, I'm happy to compare specs and dimensions etc.
