Do these mounting brackets allow for removal of the vent cover to allow for quicker cleaning on top of the vent motor screening?

Hi Michael,

Yes, with part # MA94GR you can remove the FanMate vent cover for easier cleaning.

This hardware kit uses brackets, hinge pins and retaining “pin clips.” The brackets stay mounted, and when you want the cover off you can pull the pin clips and slide the hinge pins out, then lift the cover away.

So for quicker access to clean the screening around the vent/fan area, this kit will work well. You won’t have to fully un-mount and re-mount everything each time, just remove the clips/pins and lift the cover off.

Where are you camping? I can imagine those screens get pretty dusty depending on where you are.
