Replacement Furnace for 2011 Itasca Suncruiser 37F

Updated 02/19/2026 | Published 02/14/2026

Question:

I have an 2011 Itasca Suncruiser 37f. I had fired the furnace up a couple of years ago. Since then, I have been using the heat pumps for heat. With our recent relentless cold days in Florida, i wanted to get my furnace operational again. I just spent $850, trying to get my furnace in my motorhome working. After all this expense, The rv company informed me that it had a cracked heat exchanger. Do you have a new economical furnace that will fit my unit and make for an easy install? Or what do you recomend? Tim

Hey Tim! At this point I would go ahead and replace it. Assuming they're correct it is pretty much done for. I wouldn't try to get a second opinion or anything else either and sink money into a dead furnace, best to get a new one.

The Fogatti Quiet LP Gas RV Furnace # FG45FR (black door) or # FG65FR (white door) you were looking it is a good replacement option. This has a max 35k BTU but it is also adjustable so you can run it at 17K, 25K, 30K, and then 35k. Ease of installation will depend on your current setup. I linked the installation instructions further down on this page so you can take a look and see what the process is like.

What trips are you planning once the weather warms up?
