Hey Tony, yes the Kat's block heater part # KH11412 that you referenced fits your 2017 Nissan Altima. It fits the 3.5 liter and 2.5 liter engines as well. How cold does it get by you?

Hi Tony. We purchased this for our son in laws 2009 Altima 2.5L. Unfortunately, we didn't install it, but it definitely would have fit. Too much corrosion around the steel plug/aluminum block. He had to head back to Northern Montana the next day and we didn't want to chance stripping the threads when pulling the plug out. We opted for an inline heater instead. We did however install a Kats block heater on my daughters Rav4 and it's been working well. Some Toyotas have an indentation cast into the block for a heater which doesn't require breaching the water jacket. Anyway, it should work well. Stay warm.
