Does Replacement Stainless Steel T-Bolt for Thule or DeWalt Contractor Truck Rack Fit Thule Wingbar

Question:

Looking to fit this on a Thule WingBar Evo. Does this fit the track. From my measurements the track is about 3/4inch x 1/8inch but tolerances can be tricky being this close.

Hey Joshua, yes the Replacement Stainless Steel T-Bolt for Thule or DeWalt Contractor Truck Rack # 853-5648 that you referenced is correct dimensions to fit in the top channel of your Thule WingBar Evo. What are you wanting to use this to secure to your Thule bars?

Jameson, thank you for the reply. I will be using this to attach a custom Starlink mount to the Thule bars with security nuts. Specifically, I will be adding a Veritas Vans Mini Mount to the rack. I am machining a 14 gauge metal platform that can mount directly to the Mini Mount and will also allow for magnetic mounting for an on-the-go approach where removal at destination will be leveraged.

@Joshua nice! how do you like the Starlink? We just switched to it at our house and while it's faster than what we had before it's not the crazy speeds they advertised.

@JamesonC It is necessary where we live. Besides having 5Mbps hard line it is leaps and bounds better than that. The mini will be for travel and emergency contact situations which will add to piece of mind while out and about. Looking forward to using the Mini!
