Looking for Propane ACME to 1/4 inch NPT Adapter
Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 01/05/2026 >
Question:
Hello, I need a male adapter, or a pigtail, to connect into a “5 ACME” female tank connector. It is described as 1.312-5ACME-2G-RH-INT. I would then like to use a standard threaded adapter from that perhaps a 1/4” NPT fitting to connect a hose fitting, etc.. Btw, Can you tell me if there is a more common term for this particular “5 ACME” fitting?

Hey Tim, it sounds like you are looking for the Camco Propane Fitting part # CAM59923 which connects to a ACME type fitting and then provides a male 1/4 inch NPT fitting like you are needing as well. ACME is the standard name for this so there isn't a different term.

Hey Tim, how did the Camco propane fitting work out for your setup with the ACME connection? Sharing how it performed could help others trying to match the same type of fitting.
