Can Locks for Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers Match Existing Key

Question:
Do any of the etrailer bulldog hitch locks capable to be keyed alike to key 016 or key 5. Trying to different lock mechanisms and keys

Hi David, we don't have a way to match your existing key with one of these locks. Something like the EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock for 1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16" Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers # BLTL-20-40D uses a Masterlock so if you can find one that matches you can swap it out so everything is keyed alike. The other option would be to reach out to one of the lock manufacturers directly to see if they can match that key.

Key Verse in Corinth, MS, was able to get all 3 of my Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers and Master padlocks to operate off the same key. The padlocks were for a cable securing the trailer spare tires.

Hello Robin. I agree with your reply to this question. This matter deals solely with the MasterLock itself. My key has 0501 stamped on it. A person might contact MasterLock to see if they can use key 016 or key 5 but I doubt it.
